Repeat Prescriptions
Repeat prescriptions can be ordered online, using our automated prescription telephone line or by filling in a repeat precription request form and handing it into the surgery.
When telephoning our automated prescription line we require your name, address, telephone number & prescription items when you leave a message.
GPs and Community Pharmacies will work together to ensure you get your medicines when they are due. Pharmacies are extremely busy, please allow at least FIVE days from ordering your medicine to collection from the Community Pharmacy. Please tell the practice which pharmacy you wish to collect medicines from.
When ordering online, using our automated prescription telephone line or by filling in a repeat precription request form prescriptions will be ready in two working days. Please note prescriptions that are ordered after 5pm on a Friday or Saturday / Sunday will not be available until the following Wednesday afternoon.
When ordering acute prescriptions we endeavour to have these ready as soon as possible, however these requests may also take two working days.
Medicines are NOT in short supply. Please only order the medicines that you need from your GP practice. Do not order all of your medicines automatically every time.
